Once the officer arrived on the scene, the policeman stopped the assault and arrested 39-year-old Porter. He was then taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

His charges include aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. It's unclear if he has an attorney who can comment on the charges.

The Steelers' spokesman, Burt Lauten, released a statement saying the team is fully aware of the incident.
