WHEN A QUEEN TAKES A BOW.

I should have written this sad note sometime before now.

But somehow I couldn’t imagine or decide how.

How do you explain a situation where a Queen takes a bow?

It remains a mystery to me. It does; even now.

The news hit me hard. It came as a rude shock.

It still hard to imagine the Grim reaper’s luck

How all of a sudden he put an end to her work

And added to his monstrous edifice, yet another block

But then, you’re not that lucky, Oh Grim reaper!

More than you see and know; the truth goes deeper.

You may have taken her but we still hear her whisper

As she consoles us that she now rests with her Ultimate keeper.

So you see, oh Grim reaper, she will always live on.

In our hearts, she does and the fire continues to burn

She lives on through the works she has done

The wonderful truth is; you have lost and she has won.

Mother Stella, the nation still mourns at your sudden demise

No one knows why, but God Almighty who alone is wise.

Still we cannot stop the pain as tears ceaselessly come down our eyes

We love you Ma. We’ll see again no doubt, on the day you rise.
