The rapper was ejected from his car when it hit two trees in Atlanta early Wednesday morning, his brother announced.

Lo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people in the car were injured and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The 40-year-old singer, who grew up in Georgia, leaves behind 11 children from 10 different mothers

He is best know for his song Dey Know and for founding the group D4L that produced the single Laffy Taffy.

Sad ending: According to police, a white Audi went over a guardrail, hit two trees and burst into flames

During the crash the singer was driving a white 2016 Audi when his car went out of control.

According to his official Twitter account, he was on the I-285 in south Fulton County. The crash happened on the southbound ramp to Cascade Road at 2:20 am.
