HIATUS: Lil Wayne won't release music until the debts are settled

The rapper fumed that his label Cash Money Records owed him millions of dollars and insisted he’ll never work with producer Birdman again.

“I have a family. I have kids. I have a mother. We have bills. This is just business,” he told Skip Bayless on FS1’s Undisupted.

“Gimme mine and I’ll walk free.”

The star hinted at the move last week with a less-than-subtle tweet, suggesting he was at the end of his tether.

"I AM NOW DEFENSELESS and mentally DEFEATED and I leave gracefully and thankful,” he told his 28 million followers.

“I love my fans but I’m done.”

Clearly the Sucker For Pain crooner, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, is a man of his word.

He claimed he was holding never-released album The Carter V hostage until matters were resolved.
